I listen and compare both.... This one have a superclear and articulate piano, at his best... You can hear the strings of the grand and the piano layers are there and with no paste... All clear, the piano sustain pedals are less noisy than the previous versions but still there... Perfect. Then, comes another winner of this mix. The bass... You can hear the work of Mike rutherford no muddy, really vibrant and clear, we can hear now the bass, what kind of strings he uses, and then... The fuzz. But all clear and present, You can listen now the roto bass strings brand new and the eight strings and Ric pickups in a súper definited sound... The voice is clear, not surprising because all the versions have a great vocal presence... Here, thanks to a less compressed work the dynamics of the voice are great but the real improvement is the wide range of Frequencies presents here... The voice, Says thanks... But the winner is again the bass, that un compressed and wide fq sound makes the bass sound inmense, and when the band stars to play together... The bass pedals take the lead. You rarely find it on the original cd and both remasters... But here, the bass is in your face and tour pants!!!! There's a giant improvement on the drums... They reflects the sizes and brands of the cymbals!!! The decay of them appears at last... Maybe the snare don't sound SO Big as the 2007 version but sounds as the original snare drum used ... On each second of the mix we can hear the bass tour the force and perfect sound... The eletric pianos also sound great. The wood timbales and toms rebirth... Maybe is not the Best song to judge the guitars... I can't a categoric input of sound on Hackett but it don't make a distinctive guitar line to hear... He sounds like always sound in this particular sound and a bit more. Hands up for this boxset. Maybe the song to judge this work Will be colony of slippermen or flyng on a windshield... But i'll gonna Buy it
